In a large bowl place the 10 cooked hashbrowns, 1 stick of butter, half can of chicken broth, half teaspoon of salt and half teaspoon of pepper, small tub sour cream, small onion diced, one cup cheddar cheese and mix together.
Turn the oven to 400 and pour the contents of the bowl you just mixed into a greased or foil-lined 9x9 glass baking dish.
Toss that prepared 9x9 on the middle rack for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Tastes like Cracker Barrel's Hashbrown Casserole. However, much better in my opinion.
You can try different amounts of pepper, salt or butter for your personal taste.
